Slideshow4U.co.uk creates DVD slideshows from customer-submitted photographs.
The brief
The client required an e-commerce enabled website through which customers could place orders for slideshow DVDs. The site had to be integrated with a payment processor and to allow users to upload their photographs via the site. An Adwords marketing campaign was also required to be setup and administered.
The solution
The site was designed by cbrody.com and created using XHTML, CSS, PHP and JavaScript. Demo slideshows were converted to Flash (.flv) format and incorporated into the site. The order process was integrated with PayPal's Automated Payments Notification system and an upload facility for customers' photographs was implemented making it easy for the client to retrieve the uploaded photos.
For the marketing campaign cbrody.com carried out keyword research and implemented a Google AdWords campaign. The site was submitted to the major search engines and directories.
