The client
KP Events is a privately-owned event planning company with a portfolio of clients in the private, corporate and public sectors.
The brief
The client required a new site with expanded content giving some background on the directors, explaining the company's working methods and containing a number of case studies and a contact form. The site needed to have some graphic flair reflecting the company's ethos.
The solution
Working closely with a graphic designer selected by the client, site templates were created in XHTML 1.0 Strict + CSS2. Navigation buttons and images were sliced and cropped to fit the curving layout. Javascript was used for the scroll buttons and PHP for the contact form. The site was optimised and submitted to the major search engines and directories including Google, DMOZ, Yahoo!, AOL and MSN.
